Cool research by former Krigolson Lab MSc student Harvey Howse! Links to the original article, the CBC radio interview, and the story in the Daily Mail.
Well, not quite. As a part of our new collaboration with Dr. Gord Binsted (UBCO) and Dr. Kim Binsted (UHawaii) we will be putting out mobile fatigue EEG technology into the HISEAS Mars Habitat in Hawaii. Dr. Krigolson talks about this project and using mobile EEG to assess fatigue on the Exponential Tech Tuesday cast featured below. When Rick Mercer visited the University of Victoria, we gave him a closer look at his brain. Watch the full video to see what he thought! Dr. Krigolson gave a co-hosted presentation at the University of Alberta with none other than Dr. Rich Sutton, the man who wrote the book on Reinforcement Learning! Dr. Krigolson was quoted as saying, "Yup, that was a bit intimidating but Rich is a really great guy and the talk was well received and a lot of fun."Honours student Emma Rigsby presenting her honours thesis work at UVic's Making Waves conference. Well done!
I am really proud of the students in my lab doing outreach lessons at Campus View Elementary. I took this one for myself as my favourite 8 year old neuroscientist was in the class!
